Regardless of the language, I think learning is easiest when respecting your unique background and motivations, as well as the intricacies of your mother tongue. Above all focusing on the commonalities rather than the differences. It is important that a language is lived, not just learned. This is the advantage of personalized German lessons with a private tutor.

I have a master’s degree in German Studies, and I have a certificate by the University of Cambridge.

Besides extensive work as a translator, I also have experience tutoring foreign university students, giving courses to expat families as well as tutoring refugees, and even teaching my Czech girlfriend. Not just in English and German, but also specifically working to understand the Swiss dialects.
